The below downloadable document outlines the 2024 changes to the Guidelines for preparing State Regional and Municipal Emergency Management Plans.
The Guidelines were first published in full in December 2020.
The 2024 refresh was led by Emergency Management Victoria (EMV) in consultation with all planning tiers across the emergency management sector.
The Guidelines promote consistency within planning levels and ensure the intent of the legislation is met.
The update of the Guidelines is an important step to enhance Victoria’s emergency management planning arrangements and provide a practical tool to support preparers and approvers of emergency management plans.
