Triple Zero Victoria
Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) is a statutory authority that provides critical call-taking, dispatch service, and operational communications function to Victoria’s emergency service organisations. Police, fire, ambulance and SES emergency communications is integrated within TZV enhancing interoperability and multi-agency response. TZV facilitates crucial information sharing, supporting operational response, planning, and decision-making across Victoria.
When the community need help, call-takers connect them to the most appropriate emergency service to meet their needs. Dispatchers then relay critical information and tactical intelligence to emergency services throughout the incident.
TZV ensures highly available, resilient and secure systems by overseeing Victoria’s operational communication technology ecosystem connecting communities and emergency services through telephony, computer aided dispatch (CAD), radio, mobile data, and paging systems.
